The Salvation of 2 Old Ladies

The Salvation of 2 Old Ladies….

Yesterday during our adventures, Amy and I had a flat tire. On 47, where the big trucks were blowing her little RAV4 off the road - it was a little dicey. We discuss so much that when God shows up we immediately talk about it. Before we could get thru the Roadside assistance portal a young man stopped, pulled over, put his hat on and walked back to the car. “You ladies in trouble.” His basis was two old ladies in a car with a flat on a busy highway. So yes we were pretty much “trouble” if it was defined. Lol. Anyway a young Jesse, 19 had it all together. Y’all pull off a little more. Y’all stay in the car. He started grabbing tools and was done in like 5 minutes. He had everything he needed right at his hand. We thanked him and tried to pay him - he finally considered if we could trade. What did we trade for ?…. This amazing young man had traded his very worn business card if the church he attends in Benchley. Right up the road. We explained where we all lived and so I will in fact go to his church one Sunday. Not to visit the Lord so much, but to visit his family and meet his community. They need to know that they are making a positive impact on the world. They need to be thanked for bringing this child up in the light. He needs to be affirmed by those who he has made life the better. Jesse thank you. Thank you for being where God put you. Thank you for offering up salvation for two old ladies that you didn’t know were already deep into his word. You are what and why we both taught, you are a great example to those around you and those to come behind you. What a blessing to see your face and your faith! What a child of Jesus to offer up eternal salvation for the price if $10 or a flat tire is an amazing step forward in your age group! Congratulations to your parents for raising you so well! We will seek you out and find you, we will pray for you and I pray over you one day, remembering the young man who offered two old ladies salvation for a $10 bill.
